    We look over the boat, document the damage, and work in with your insurer's assessor.

  3. The repair

    We do the work in our Fremantle Sailing Club sheds, with our own lifting and hard standing, so the boat stays under cover and under our care.

  4. Back on the water

    We hand the boat back repaired and finished, and we guarantee the work.

Argo Navis, collision rebuild

Mark's boat was T-boned in a race off Freshwater Bay. It took close to an hour just to separate the two boats. We carried out extensive fibreglass work inside and out, rebuilt part of the galley and forward cabin, then re-sprayed her.

Stephen Handley and Fremantle Shipwrights completed the extensive repair to Argo Navis to a level of quality and workmanship that I cannot fault. The repairs were carried out on schedule and Steve was always available to talk through any issues or concerns.

Flood damage

Caribbean 40, flood damage

Two rogue waves came through the windscreen leaving Rottnest Bay, flooding the fit-out, engine room and electrics. We stripped the ruined interior, overhauled and dyno-tuned the engines, and replaced the glass screen with a moulded fibreglass front.

Fire restoration

Precision 17 Vivo, fire restoration

Brought to us after a fire at the Fremantle Sailing Club. We sandblasted back to fibreglass, repaired the delamination, rebuilt with fibreglass mat and Vinylester resin, primed with Awlgrip, then restored the interior, flybridge and a new fibreglass canopy. Back on the water and looking new.
